PLP’s New WEDGE-GRIP™ Dead-end

Preformed Line Products (PLP) introduces the WEDGE-GRIP™ Dead-end. The WEDGE-GRIP Dead-end is designed to simplify terminating strand used in cross bracing, offering an alternative to the eye bolt/nut/washer system commonly used in the metal building industries.

The new product is designed for EHS strand sizes from 3/16” through 3/8,” eliciting a creative and simple housing and wedge assembly. The WEDGE-GRIP simply slides over the strand and clamps with the turn of a cap, no special tools required.

While taking only seconds to install, the WEDGE-GRIP results in a reliable strand termination designed to develop 100 percent of the published rated breaking strength of the strand. Patent Pending.
